About Me

Hi, I'm Lea Scaddan. Thank you for visiting my website. A bit of info about me, I was born and raised in Australia but moved to the US for almost a decade. Due to long working hours and personal reasons, I decided to move back to Australia to provide a better life for my family. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Design with Honours and have been teaching design to tertiary students for over 20 years. I developed new units that includes lesson plans, assessment guidelines, learning outcomes, strategies and so on. These training packages were approved by Australian Qualifications Framework for use at tertiary institutions. I have also been a moderator in off-shore programs for Singapore and Jakarta.  Some of the units I teach are Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), design principles and skills. I am also an international award-winning wildlife photographer with awards from Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards, National Geographic, Australian Geographic, Bird Photographer of the Year, Australian Photography among the few. This blog idea came about during the COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to share my design and photography experience with you, I plan to put out a newsletter that includes design and photography tips, photo challenges and any news with you.
